When Jose and I went to Lyme I saw these lovely things in a window. Amazing what you can make out of what you find on a beach.

One day I would love to live in a hut like this (bit bigger maybe) and have a bit of land...... few hens, just a very peaceful life.
Thought I should also introduce my young man (who is ssssoooooo embarrassed by the fact that I knit!! and crochet!)
Hmmmm....I was flicking through a magazine in Smiths yesterday and saw an article about caravans (and i think one shepherd's hut) that people were using for second homes/holiday homes........
ReplyDeletethey were SO lovely...almost like dolls houses.
I want one. x
Isn't it lovely when random clicking brings you to a blog you've never seen before, but somehow feels like home. I live in NZ now but used to be on the Isle of Wight which is dotted with little huts and cottages. I have 3 teenagers and they are just embarrassed by me...full stop!
ReplyDeleteI'll come back soon when homesickness next strikes.
A hut and a few hens, that would suit me too. Have you thought of doing anything crafty yourself with beachcombings?
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good weekend
